ZENMYNDBREATH. AWARENESS. POSSIBILITY.Start a conversation

PRIVATE WORK WITH AJ

You know what you should do.
Can you live it under pressure?

ZenMynd brings meditation, breath awareness, self-observation, and Eastern philosophy into the actual circumstances of career, relationships, leadership, money, identity, and difficult decisions.

AJ, ZenMynd teacher and guide

THE PRINCIPLE BENEATH THE WORK

Awareness before reaction.
Steadiness without withdrawal.

The aim is not to control every inner state or eliminate difficulty. It is to remain increasingly aware of yourself while circumstances continue to change.

Engagement without entanglement.

Participation without losing yourself in the role.

Deliberate action rather than automatic reaction.

THE ZENMYND FRAMEWORK

STATE → DHARMA → KARMA

Begin with what is happening within you. Examine what deserves to guide you. Then act in the world you actually inhabit.

01

STATE

Recognize the state from which you are acting.

Observe breath, physical tension, sleep, bodily sensations, recurring reactions, emotional patterns, disturbance, and ease.

02

DHARMA

Examine what is driving you.

Question values, expectations, desires, responsibilities, boundaries, identity, inherited assumptions, and definitions of success.

03

KARMA

Let insight become action.

Bring deliberate choice into a conversation, marriage, leadership decision, career change, boundary, presentation, conflict, or ordinary day.

THE FOUNDATIONAL PRIVATE ENGAGEMENT

The Inner Foundation

A structured but personalized process for learning how to understand and work with your internal state before moving into deeper questions of values, identity, responsibility, and action.

This is not a bundle of meditation sessions or coaching hours. It is a private engagement shaped around your patterns, circumstances, and willingness to practice.

WHAT THE WORK CAN MOVE THROUGH

From observation
to lived choice.

01

Observe

Begin with what is happening now: body, breath, sleep, stress, recurring reactions, moments of disturbance, and moments that make you feel alive.

02

Experience

Use meditation, breath awareness, Yoga Nidra, and body awareness to recognize steadiness and calm as lived experiences rather than abstract ideas.

03

Pause

Create space between what happens and what follows. Sometimes the wisest response is a pause. Sometimes it is no response.

04

Examine

Look underneath recurring reactions. What did you expect? What belief was challenged? Where did it come from? Does it still serve?

05

Choose

Decide what deserves to remain: values, principles, boundaries, expectations, responsibilities, and desires.

06

Live

Bring those choices into the next meeting, conversation, decision, relationship, and ordinary day.

WHAT WORKING TOGETHER FEELS LIKE

Enough structure to develop.
Enough room to be human.

We meet privately once a week, online or in person. A conversation usually takes 60–90 minutes, but the work is not run by a stopwatch. The intention is to listen carefully, understand what is actually happening, and find a meaningful path forward.

Practices may include meditation, breath awareness, Yoga Nidra, journaling, somatic awareness, reflection, and deliberate experiments in daily life. The process adapts to the person rather than forcing every person through an identical script.

ONGOING PRIVATE GUIDANCE

A trusted guide and thinking partner
while life unfolds.

Bring what life is presenting: marriage, career, leadership, money, confidence, identity, ambition, conflict, a difficult conversation, or a decision you do not know how to make.

AJ does not make the decision for you. He listens, questions, challenges assumptions, introduces practices, offers perspectives from Eastern wisdom, and may encourage you not to make an important decision from a highly reactive state.

WHAT PEOPLE BRING

The work begins
with real life.

Confidence or self-presentation at work

Communication challenges at home or in a team

A difficult marriage within a cultural context

Uncertainty about a startup or career change

Ambition, money, success, and the meaning of enough

Identity, expectations, boundaries, and belonging

WHO THIS WORK SERVES

Open to practice.
Ready to examine.

You genuinely want change and are willing to look at your own patterns.

You are open to meditation, breath, and body-based practices.

You are willing to question beliefs and expectations that may have been inherited rather than chosen.

You will try practices and new responses between conversations.

You are open to being challenged with warmth and respect.

You want greater independence, not permanent dependence on a guide.

BEGIN WITH A CONVERSATION

Bring what is happening now.

We will talk about what you are navigating, what you hope to understand or change, and whether The Inner Foundation or ongoing Private Guidance is an appropriate fit.

Start a conversation

A calm first conversation. No pressure to enroll.
